Tibetan treasures located inside the main temple will be safer after measures are taken to improve the structure's seismic strength and protect its contents. Several of these treasures are illustrated below.

 
Tibetan Library

Bronzes, ceramics and thangkas (scroll paintings) in a top floor room of the main temple.

A cabinet housing fragile objects is not fixed to the wall and the top is not attached to the base (detail shown in photo at right).
