GHI initiates natural hazard safety projects
in developing countries. These projects assess risk, raise awareness
of the risks, build local institutions to manage the risk, and
strengthen schools to protect and train the community's future
generations. GHI works closely with local in-country partners,
in multi-disciplinary teams, to increase the effectiveness and
sustainability of each project. Since its founding in 1991, GHI
has worked collaboratively in 20 countries. |
