Sourcebooks of Family Disaster Preparedness Information for the Dominican Republic and Haiti
These Sourcebooks provide people and organizations with knowledge they can use to take action at the local level to be better prepared in future disasters. Focused on earthquake hazards and the hazards they induce such as tsunamis, the Sourcebooks include the following:

science behind the natural hazards that affect Haiti and the Dominican Republic;

potential impacts from hazard events;
-
how to prepare to be safer when a hazard event occurs; and
-
how to protect communities for the long term.
The Sourcebooks are primarily intended as a reference for people and organizations working or wanting to work with families in Haiti and the Dominican Republic to improve disaster resilience.
