Aparajita Acharya brings over two decades of experience in communications, nonprofit development, and comparative policy research. A natural storyteller and filmmaker, she combines strategic insight with creativity to amplify impact and build meaningful connections.

At GeoHazards International, she is part of the Development & Communications team, where she leads graphic and web design, manages events, nurtures donor relationships, and plays a key role in supporting and implementing the organization’s annual fundraising campaign.

Her professional journey includes work with global and national organizations such as USAID, International Committee of the Red Cross, CARE International, and the National Peace Campaign in Nepal.

Aparajita holds a Master’s in Social Policy from University of Sydney, Australia, and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Sociology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She is fluent in English and Nepali, and conversational in Hindi and Urdu.
