Rachael Morala is GeoHazards International’s (GHI) Country Focal for Philippine Projects. Working on various advocacy, campaigns and project initiatives, Rachael puts to use her years of experience in both the non-government and public institutions in order to push forward reforms in key development issues. An economist by background, she integrates this discipline in her endeavors to better the policy environs in the Philippines focusing on fiscal responsibility and responsiveness at the national and local level, environment protection and conservation and the upliftment of people’s quality of life. Over the years, Rachael has honed her skills in managing various programs and projects landing herself management and leadership roles in her many institutional engagements. Rachael has a double degree in Economics and Community development from the University of the Philippines.
