GHI’s  staff is comprised of experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds, including earthquake science, engineering, medicine, law, communications, finance and international development. 

Windy Previl

Windy Previl has experience in teaching, radio broadcasting, and community development. He is co-founder and Haiti Representitive of the nonprofit Le Roseau Initiative, which exists to improve the health and well-being of the children of Haiti through primary education. He has been a mentor for the College Horizons Outreach Program and has run a youth radio program in North Haiti. During his several years working with International NGOs in Haiti and the U.S., he has coordinated outreach, logistics and project management for programs such as earthquake and tsunami preparedness, hurricane planning, infant and child nutrition, civic engagement, and women’s empowerment. With a background teaching English as a foreign language, Mr. Previl has served as interpreter for many institutions and has translated official documents. He has a diploma in Management from the State University of Haiti (UEH). He communicates fluently in Haitian Creole, French and English.
