Since our founding over 30 years ago, GeoHazards International has stood for one clear purpose: equipping communities with skills and knowledge to build resilience before disasters strike. From the very beginning, we knew that lasting change requires steady, long-term commitment—not quick fixes.
This year, resilience has been a focus not only in the communities we serve, but within our own organization. GeoHazards International, like many others, was deeply affected by changes in the federal funding landscape.
Despite these unexpected changes, our mission and resolve remain. We have maintained our passionately committed team, sustained our core programs, and diversified our funding to increase our own resilience. Here are some recent highlights:

One of the most addictive aspects of slope rider is how each run feels unique, ensuring that no two attempts are ever exactly the same.
I always think Crossy Road looks easy until a run actually starts. Cars speed up, logs drift apart, and one small pause gets you caught by the eagle. I’ve learned to read traffic patterns and move in short bursts instead of rushing forward, which surprisingly helps me last much longer.
