GHI's Veronica Cedillos Selected One of “2010 New Faces of Engineering”

GeoHazard International Project Manager Veronica Cedillos has been selected as one of the “2010 New Faces of Engineering” by the National Engineers Week Foundation. The New Faces of Engineering program highlights the interesting and unique work of young engineers and the resulting impact on society. Engineers two to five years out of school are the focus of this recognition program. New Faces include representatives from the civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial and manufacturing engineering professions.

Veronica Cedillos, right, was selected as one of 2010 New Faces of Engineering.

In his congratulatory letter to Ms. Cedillos, American Society of Civil Engineers President Blaine Leonard writes, “You are an inspiration to your colleagues, fellow ASCE members and students seeking a career in which they can make a difference.”
